- Flomax is only suitable for men between the ages of 45 and 75 years.
- If this is your first purchase of Flomax you will need an assessment of your baseline symptoms by the pharmacist before the drug can be supplied.
- Our Pharmacist will contact you by telephone before despatch to ask any necessary questions to make sure that Flomax is suitable for you to take.He will give you any necessary lifestyle advice to help you improve your symptoms.
- You will need to consult your GP for review within six weeks of starting treatment - or within two weeks, if the treatment is not effective within that time - and at least once a year after that.
- Patients for whom OTC tamsulosin supply is not deemed appropriate, including those with symptoms of incontinence, urinary retention, cloudy or bloody urine, fever or pain on urination, will be advised to consult their GP immediately for medical treatment.
