Pantoloc Control contains the active substance pantoprazole, which blocks the ‘pump' that produces stomach acid, thereby reducing the amount of acid in your stomach.

• Pantoprazole

Directions

• 1 x20mg gastro-resistant tablet daily
• It might be necessary to take the tablets for 2-3 consecutive days to achieve improvement of symptoms
• Once complete relief of symptoms has occurred, treatment should be stopped
• The treatment should not exceed 4 weeks without consulting a doctor
• If no symptom relief is obtained within 2 weeks of continuous treatment, the patient should be instructed to consult a doctor

Caution

Not suitable for

• People who are allergic to any of the ingredients in the medicine, or people taking atazanavir for the treatment of HIV infection
• Children and adolescents below 18 years old
• Pregnant and breast feeding women
• People taking Clopidogrel

If you fall into any of the above categories and suffer from heartburn or other symptoms of acid reflux at least once a week, consult your pharmacist or Doctor for advice on appropriate treatment
