Description

• Gaviscon Original products form a 'raft' over the stomach contents which helps prevent acid coming back up into the oesophagus (food pipe)
• As such it is effective at treating the classic symptoms of heartburn (a burning pain in the chest and mild acid regurgitation)

Active Ingredients

Liquid contains

• Sodium alginate 250mg
• Sodium bicarbonate 133.5mg
• Calcium carbonate 80mg

Directions

• Adults should take 10-20ml after meals and at bedtime.
• Children 6-12 years: 5-10ml after meals and at bedtime.
• 2-6 years: not recommended except on medical advice.
• Not recommended for infants.
