Description
- Soothelip For Cold Sores Cream contains Aciclovir, which is an antiviral agent that has been shown to be effective in treating infections caused by the herpes simplex virus, more commonly known as cold sores

- Aciclovir 5%
Directions
- It is important to start treating the cold sore as soon as it begins
- You may be able to tell when you are about to get a cold sore (an itching or tingling feeling)
- You should use the cream when you first notice this itching or tingling feeling
- Apply a small amount to the affected area 5 times a day at 4 hour intervals for 5 to 10 days
Caution
- Do not use Soothlip for cold sore (herpes) infections of the eye, inside the mouth or genital areas
- If symptoms persist consult your doctor or pharmacist
- Keep out of the reach and sight of children
Consult your doctor or pharmacist if
- You are pregnant, plan to become pregnant or are breastfeeding
- You have had a bad (allergic) reaction to any of the ingredients in the cream
- Your immune system is not working properly (for instance you have had a bone marrow transplant or you have AIDS)
- You are taking other medicines, such as probenecid, and any that you have bought without a prescription
