Description

• 10% CREAM is to treat vaginal thrush and 2% cream is for relief of the irritation
• The 2% cream can also be used for the treatment of sexual partner's penis to prevent re-infection

Active Ingredients

Combined pack of one 5g vaginal cream in a prefilled applicator and 10g of topical cream contains

• Clotrimazole vaginal cream 10%w/w
• 1 Units Clotrimazole 2 %w/w

Directions

• Adults 16-60 years of age - contents of the pre-filled applicator to be inserted as deeply as possible into the vagina, preferably at night
• The cream to be applied thinly 2 or 3 times daily to the affected area
• Under 16 and over 60 years - not recommended except on medical advice

Caution

See your doctor as soon as possible and DO NOT use this preparation if you have any of the following symptoms

• Abnormal or Irregular Vaginal Bleeding
• Blisters
• Ulcers, Sores or Pain of the Vagina
• Pain in passing Urine
• Fever or Chills
• Diarrhoea
• If you are unsure or it is the first time you have had the symptoms or are pregnant consult your doctor

Side Effects

• Rarely Canesten may cause side effects similar to the symptoms of thrush
• If the redness, burning or swelling get worse, stop using this cream and see your doctor as soon as possible
