Description

• Canesten Thrush Treatment is used to treat a fungal infection in the vagina and vulval area (thrush)

Active Ingredients

Vaginal cream contains

• Clotrimazole 10 %w/w

Directions

• 16-60 years of age - the contents of filled applicator (5g) should be inserted as deeply as possible into the vagina, preferably at night
• Under 16 years and over 60 years - not recommended except on medical advice

Caution

See your doctor as soon as possible and DO NOT use this applicator if you have any of the following symptoms

• Abnormal or Irregular Vaginal Bleeding
• Blisters
• Ulcers, Sores or Pain of the Vagina
• Pain in passing Urine
• Fever or Chills
• Diarrhoea
• If you are unsure or it is the first time you have had the symptoms or are pregnant consult your doctor

Side Effects

• Rarely Canesten may cause side effects similar to the symptoms of thrush
• If the redness, burning or swelling get worse, stop using this preparation and see your doctor as soon as possible
