• Canesten Pessary is a single application for the treatment of thrush

Active Ingredients

Pessary contains

• Clotrimazole 500 mg

Directions

• 16-60 years of age - 1 pessary inserted into vagina at night
• Under 16 years and over 60 year not recommended except on medical advice

Caution

See your doctor as soon as possible and DO NOT use this pessary if you have any of the following symptoms

• Abnormal or Irregular Vaginal Bleeding
• Blisters, Ulcers, Sores or Pain of the Vagina
• Pain in passing Urine
• Fever or Chills
• Diarrhoea
• If you are unsure or it is the first time you have had the symptoms or are pregnant consult your doctor

Side Effects

• Rarely Canesten may cause side effects similar to the symptoms of thrush
• If the redness, burning or swelling get worse see your doctor as soon as possible
