Description

Active Ingredients

Each sachet contains

• Glucose 3.56g
• Sodium chloride 0.47g
• Potassium chloride 0.30g
• Disodium hydrogen citrate 0.53g

Directions

• Empty contents of one Dioralyte sachet into a glass
• Add 200ml (7 fl oz) of fresh drinking water
• Stir well until dissolved                                                     
• Adults and the elderly - take one sachet after each loose bowel motion. When vomiting is present with the diarrhoea, it is recommended that small amounts be taken frequently. However, it is important that the whole of the required volume of Dioralyte be taken
• Children aged 2 to 12 years - one sachet after each loose bowel motion
Children under 2 - the usual dose is one to one and a half times the normal 24 hour feed volume of Dioralyte solution prepared as directed above

Caution

• Keep out of the reach and sight of children

Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you

• Are suffering from intestinal obstruction
• Have kidney or liver disease or a condition where your body salts are disturbed
• Are on a low potassium diet
• Are pregnant or breast-feeding
