Description

Acute diarrhoea acute episodes of diarrhoea associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome in adults following initial diagnosis by a doctor
Pharmacy Medicine (P) Green and grey capsule

Active Ingredients

Capsule contains

Loperamide hydrochloride 2mg

Directions

Over 12 years - 2 capsules initially followed, if necessary, by one capsule after each loose bowel movement
Maximum 8 capsules in 24 hours
Under 12 years - not to be given

Caution

While symptoms persist, fluid and electrolyte replacement is necesssary, particularly in the frail and elderly

Side effects

These are rare ,but if you experience any ,report to your GP or pharmacist
