Description

Relief of rheumatic pain, headache, migraine, neuralgia, toothache, sore throat, period pain, feverishness and the symptoms of colds and influenza

Active Ingredients

Each tablet contains

Codeine phosphate 8 mg
Paracetamol 500 mg
Caffeine 30 mg

Directions

Adults - 2 tablets in water up to 3-4 times a day if necessary not more frequently than 4 hourly
Maximum 8 tablets in 24 hours
Children - not to be given

Caution

Many products including cold remedies contain paracetamol
Always read the label and do not exceed the stated dose
In case of overdose seek medical advice urgently because of the risk of serious delayed liver damage
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product if you suffer from alcoholism, kidney or liver problems, if you are taking any other medicines or if you are pregnant

Side Effects

These are rare with paracetamol but should you experience skin rash or other side effects report to your doctor or pharmacist
Paracetamol taken in high doses may effect the use of metoclopramide, domperidone and anticoagulants including warfarin.Codeine may cause constipation
