This book is a companion to my previous book entitled Treating Arthritis - The Drug Free Way. In that, I told how I suffered the excruciating pain of arthritis for sixteen years - locked in every joint with both osteo - and rheumatoid arthritis - and how, having tried numerous so-called cures and diets, I eventually devised a diet and treatment for myself that rid me of all signs of arthritis in twelve months. That book also explained how I now give talks throughout the Midlands telling people what diet and treatment can be adopted for the relief or cure of arthritis, and the wonderful successes I have seen as the result of these talks and in the running of a busy clinic in Coventry.

Requests have come in day after day asking for a book containing `acid-free' recipes and in response to these requests, I have decided to create this book of simple menus, bearing in mind that the majority of arthritics are elderly, many live alone, and although they like variety in their food, do not want to be bothered with elaborate recipes and preparation methods. I hope they will enjoy the following menus as much ad I have enjoyed compiling them.
