Description

  • For acute bacterial conjunctivitis

Active Ingredients

Drops contain

  • Chloramphenicol 0.5%
  • Phenylmercuric Nitrate

Directions

  • Adults and children over 2 - Put 1 drop into the affected eye(s) every 2 hours for the first 48 hours, then every 4 hours thereafter
  • To be used during waking hours only
  • The course of treatment should be only 5 days
  • Seek further immediate medical advice any time symptoms worsen
  • Consult your doctor if your eye infection does not start to improve within 48 hours
  • Discard medicine after treatment
  • Children under 2 - Do not use

Caution

  • Do not use if you are allergic to chloramphenicol or any of the othe ingredients
  • For external use only
  • Do not exceed the stated dose
  • Keep out of the reach and sight of children
